In 2005, a Spanish company called E-Max released a series of figures known as E-Flyers. E-Flyers were little flat, rubber aliens with a magnet on their back. They were a moderate success. In 2007, E-Max decided to release a a new series of E-Flyers, but this time made the characters smaller and made of hard plastic, as well as removing the magnetic features.
Frikis figures are the same as the classic Crazy Bones in terms of feel and do not look out of place when stood beside an official Gogo. They are unpainted and can come in a variety of colours including a special transparent blue finish. These figures even have a stamp on the back that is molded exactly the same as the stamps on older Crazy Bones. The company's logo (E-Max) can also be found under each character's stamp. They were sold in packs that contained either three or two figures as well as four stickers and a checklist.

Face Offs: History[]
The Frikis characters originate and are directly taken from a brand known as "Face Offs: Expressions to Fit Your Mood," a series of comic drawings that were created by American cartoonist Tom Armstrong in the late 1990's. These drawings always consisted of a square with a comedic exaggerated face inside.
The brand was a huge success and sold several pieces of merchandise around the world, such as plushies, shirts, and a collection of six blind bagged figures released by Coca-Cola in South America.
Four of the drawings were used by Playcorp Pty LtD to produce 3D Mugs as a promotion with Hungry Jacks in Australia.
When Frikis released, the Face Offs characters were given bodies that resemble Gogo's characters from the Buddies series, and characters had their names changed. Face Offs are copyrighted by NES-INC, who are credited on the back of each Frikis figure. They did not release until 2007, and it is unknown why the gap is so long between these original products and the final series.

- Many of the characters in this series share the same names as characters from Gogo's Crazy Bones series such as Gogo's (1996), Buddies and Aliens.
- In addition they share the same Spanish sticker manufacturers (Ensobrados Martorell) with the classic Crazy Bones series and also had a South American promotion with Coca-Cola.
- The E-Flyers logo is also remarkably similar to the Crazy Bones logo.
