Bok Choy Boy are a series of small rubber figurines that are sold in capsule machines in the USA. There was also a video game spin-off, plush toys and larger build-able figures.

Each of the figurines - said to be From The Forbidden City - features a Chinese symbol on their forehead and a matching sign on their back. The figures all share the same sculpt and design, but they come in a variety of different colors and symbols.

4 sets of 12 figures were rolled out during the brand's lifespan, as well as a 5th series with larger figures that needed to be assembled. Two other similar sets of figures were released by the same company, known as Numb Skullz and Karma Kidz. Numb Skullz reused the Bok Choy Boy sculpts and replaced the Chinese theming with vinyl skeleton faces, which Karma Kidz created a new sculpt and design for its figures, as well as a new theme based on good and bad emotions. These two sets were less popular and therefore are a lot harder to find in capsule machines.

These 7 sets of figurines share the same designer vinyl on a budget kind of feel and don't look at all out of place with Crazy Bones figure. Because of the visual similarities, they are often sold with Gogo's in second hand online listings.

Kinder Surprise and Kinder Joy are a popular brand of chocolate eggs from Italian candy company Ferrero. Each chocolate egg contains some sort of "surprise" that ranges from toy cars, collectible figurines, puzzles, and more. A toy that has come from a Kinder egg will always have one of three copyright stamps (FERRERO, MPG, or a K inside a cloud) Thousands of toys have been made since the product's launch in the 1970's, but this page will only showcase a few sets that resemble Gogo's and are often confused with them.

Hand Painted Figurines[]

Dozens and dozens of special hand painted collectible figurines have been created by Ferrero for Kinder Surprise eggs since the mid 1980s. They are often made of the same hard plastic as Gogo's and are only a little bit larger in terms of scaling. Many of the series revolve around cartoon animals and creatures such as hippos, teddy bears, ghosts, and elephants, but popular franchises such as The Smurfs, Asterix, Lord of the Rings, and Mickey Mouse have also been given figures in this style.

Forest Elves[]

Small glow in the dark figures that were available in Kinder Surprise eggs in 2009 and came in pairs. Each of the figures in the set resemble mythical creatures, including fairies, elves, and mermaids.

Monster Bande[]

A small set of monster figurines from 2010 that were made out of hard eraser-like rubber which would bounce off of flat surfaces and could be used to play games.

Twistheads[]

A line of figures created and released during the Summer of 2012. This set of twelve figures all share the same mold but feature vastly different character designs drawn onto each of them. The heads of these figures could be opened and connected to each other. Many sets have also been created that are based on licensed properties, such as Star Wars, DC Comics, and Super Mario Bros.

Parachute Jumpers[]

Stylized figurines of dogs made of hard plastic with painted faces that resemble Gogo's. These figures came with a paper parachute that could be attached to them, allowing them to slowly glide down in the air.

Mixart Robots[]

Figures of robots that could open their heads to store included stickers. These stickers were images of faces that could be placed on the robot's head and swapped out for others.

Crazy Friends[]

Figurines that could be found in Kinder Joy eggs during the Summer of 2016 in Europe. These figures all share the same mold and shape but each have different designs that resemble those of the modern Gogo's style on their faces and bodies. Crazy Friends each have an arched back with a "K" stamp on them. While this "K" is on the back of all toys and figures included with Kinder eggs from 2014 and onwards, the placement on these is near-identical to a Gogo's figure. They were also sold in Brazil, as well as other countries around the world, but their release dates are currently unknown. A number of different collections, such as a Christmas series and a set made to promote The Angry Birds Movie have been created since the original set launched.

Similar to Gogo's, these figures come in a number of finishes, such as metallic, glow in the dark and had different collections sometimes adding functionalities like holes to shoot water for example. They often end up in lots of Gogo's online in Europe.

Pentas[]

A collection of figures that were available during 2019. These figures were very visually similar to Gogo's, featuring cute stubby characters with painted faces.
