The first 40 characters of Megatrip/Edge were released as a special promotional series in supermarkets in Europe. They could be found at Carrefour and C1000.

Each packet had one Gogo and one sticker in it, regardless of what supermarket you were in.

Released during 2009 and 2010, 40 characters from Megatrip were released in supermarkets across Europe. In the Netherlands, these were released under C1000 in 2009. In the early 2010's, Carrefour released these figures in Belgium. This set of figures has been given the name "special edition," as this is what it's referred to on the c1000 sticker album. Otherwise, the packs and advertising simply read "Gogo's Crazy Bones" and include the logo of the store holding the promotion.

While the characters are the same as they are in Megatrip, there are changes on nearly every figure that range from minor to major. One notable change is that the figures in this release aren't as detailed as their multicolored counterparts from the original Megatrip release and look quite different as a result. For example, the yellow shirt with a black skull on it is completely absent from Piwi in this set, and the shirt is instead the same color as the rest of the figure (other examples include Longa and Tauris' teeth not being painted and Sumi and Juruk missing the symbols on their bodies). Three characters in the set, K-Cul, Ten, and Noctus were completely redesigned.

Color Guide[]

  • Painted - Standard figures. All figures came in five colors. Characters 1-20 came in black, blue, green, orange, and red. Characters 21-40 came in aqua, blue, pink, purple, and yellow.
  • Glitter - Transparent figures with glitter. These came in five colors (pink, purple, orange, white, and yellow).

In Poland, a promotion for Megatrip was held within Real supermarkets. Like Special Edition, this set included the first 40 Megatrip. However, its range of colors, finishes, and design choices make it a strange blend of Special Edition and the original release.

Color Guide[]

  • Plain - Unpainted figures. This was the only European release to receive this finish.
  • Multicolored- Painted figures. Like the other European promos, figures 1-20 were simplified in detail. Unlike the other European promos, figures 21-40 were fully detailed, as they would be in any major release.
  • Glitter- Unpainted, transparent figures with glitter. These came in five colors (pink, purple, orange, white, and yellow). Each of the 40 figures had a glitter finish.

Golden Power[]

Like the other special edition promos, Real had its own golden figure: Ayu. Strangely enough, this figure seemed to be obtainable on its own; although, we are still unsure as to how it was obtained.

In 2011, France received a limited release of Megatrip in Géant Casino supermarkets. This promotion allegedly took place from October 12 to November 5 (Theses where also available for 3 more days on the casino website) in 2011. You would get a ticket for each 15€ spent and insert them in a machine near the exit. While these machines could give you vouchers, the odds of winning a pack of gogo's was higher but there would still be a chance of not getting anything at all. 4 million Gogo’s where made for this promotion according to the tickets. Unlike the C1000 and Carrefour releases, Casino released just the first 20 figures.

Color Guide[]

  • Painted - Common figures. Mostly identical to Special Edition and Real, with the exception of the a new grey color and a darker shade of blue.
  • Glitter - Unpainted, transparent figures with glitter. Some colors were brought over from Special Edition, but other colors, namely the transparent coral, magenta, and blue, are brand new.

Some of the designs in this series is very similar to Dino Gogo's, as they both feature the same characters, with company logos, and different designs from their Megatrip counterpart. Though, different from the Danone Series, these support an "S" for the Sütaş Logo, and the some of the S's is placed in different spots then the D's were in Series Dino Gogo's. Unlike the Dino Gogo's series, however, other gogo's featured simplified designs, similar to Special Edition. This Series also features gold figures.

Color Guide[]

  • Relieve - Unpainted figures with sculpted details. They came in an orange color.
  • Multicolor - Painted Colors. The lime and red gogo's were fully detailed and featured the "S" symbol. On the other hand, the pink, teal, and orange gogo's were simplified and detail and did not feature the "S" symbol.
  • Glitter - Unpainted, transparent figures with glitter. They came in a red color.
  • Gold - These have never been seen before outside of promotional material, so it is unknown if they were "one of a kind" or just scarce.

Trivia[]

  • All 20 of the regular figures can only come in 5 different colors. These are Purple/Magenta, Blue, Green, Yellow and Orange.
  • Some of the figures had paint changes to them not seen in any other release of Megatrip. For example characters having paint colors changed and even extra or alternate detailing. However oddly enough some figures also have no changes at all compared to there regular release counterparts. It is unknown why any changes were made to the figures however paint color options may have been limited during production.
  • Three of the four Nuclos Case designs were never made into figures. These being Vamp, Sully and Snakles. It is not known if these designs were ever planned to be made as alternate figure variants for Nuclos or if they were designed solely for the cases.
  • There is a 21st figure to this set, this being a exclusive unpainted laser red variant of Ayu. This figure is the only unpainted laser figure known to be made for any series. He is not mentioned in any promotional material of Kalise, except for a paper you get when obtaining him.
