 Trivia[]

  • In Brazil they were released as 'Série Gelo-Cósmicos'.
  • The aliens eyes glow in the dark.
  • When these were first released there was a rare chance of finding an Alien figure in a pack of Things
  • There was a special commercial in South America that used Star Trek and X-Files scenes to help promote this series.

Alternate Names

Série Gelo-Cosmicos, Hielocos Aliens, Monstruos

In South America during the mid-1990's, the Coca-Cola soft drink company released this series (along with figures from the Gogo's (1996), Things, Sports and Rockeros series) that could be purchased by writing down a code found under the bottle cap or lid. They were known as Geloucos/Gelo-Cosmicos (Brazil) and Hielocos/Monstruos (Mexico). These figures were the same as regular Gogo's, but they could only be found in colors such as Jellies, Glowies and Sparkles. They also bear Coca-Cola stamps on their backs instead of Magic Box stamps.

Color Guide[]

  • Mexico- The Mexican Hielocos release of Aliens is the most limited in terms of colors. Similar to the Canadian release it only features figures in ice. However certain colors are exclusive between the Aliens and Monsters. Aliens only can be found in ice neon red, orange, yellow, lime green, light blue, medium blue, clear and brown. Monsters can only be found in ice dark red, turquoise, dark blue and purple.
  • Brazil- Brazil includes a similar colorset the Mexican Hielocos release. However, it also has several unpainted glow in the dark figures. These include white, blue and peach.
  • Colombia- Colombia's release of Aliens is the only South American set to have solid Aliens. It is also notable for being the only Aliens set to have glow in the dark painted Monsters. The entire colorset is unknown due to a lack of documentation. Known colors so far for the Aliens are solid red, orange, light blue, magenta, hot pink and gray. Ice colors for Aliens include ice dark red, neon red, light blue, dark blue and brown. Solid Monster colors include red, yellow, lime green and green. Ice Monster colors include dark red, turquoise and purple.

16 special Mega Bones based on the Aliens series were released. In Europe, Mega Aliens were in their own special packs and came with free pieces of bubble gum. Just like the Skinny Bombers figures, these 16 Gogo's were a part of the "Magic Sweet Box" line of products. As their names suggest, they are larger than regular Aliens Crazy Bones. They were also free gifts with Corn Flakes cereal products in Australia. Mega Aliens could also be found in Mexico under the Coca-Cola branding. Unlike other releases of the figures, these came with painted faces.
